(William) Keith Marsland

Passed away peacefully with family by his side at Guelph General Hospital on Sunday, March 3, 2024, at the age of 80 from pneumonia.

Keith grew up on a farm in Nanticoke, Ontario. He devoted his career to the Big Brothers organization in Guelph. Keith enjoyed following politics and sports but loved nothing more than connecting with people. Known for his exceptional listening skills and genuine curiosity about others, Keith fed his soul by building and nourishing many friendships throughout his lifetime. He enjoyed his bi-weekly connections with his men's group.   

Keith was the beloved husband of Lynda Marsland (neé Whitmee) who preceded him in death in 2022. Loved father of Shawn and Shannon and their children Sam and Isabel of Toronto and Darren and Kathy of Parry Sound. Dear cousin of Bernice and Fred Marsland. Predeceased by his parents Bruce and Ruby Marsland of Nanticoke.

Keith faced many health challenges throughout his life and was admired for his resilience and positive mindset. He taught us all many lessons in acceptance and peace. Keith’s family would like to thank the many friends and neighbors who lent a helping hand in his final years.  

Arrangements entrusted to Brombal Funeral Home & Cremation Care. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Keith’s Life will be held at the Guelph Arboretum from 1pm to 4pm on Saturday, April 20.
