Obituary of Ronald I. Wisniewski

WISNIEWSKI, Ronald— It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Ronald on December 11th, 2023 in his 59th year.

Ron was the beloved husband of the late Cathy Farrelly. Proud and loving father of Cachzmiera (Matthew) Rosa. He was predeceased by his father "Teddy" Wisniewski, and mother, Daisy Mae McKay. A brother of George (Alice) and Steve Wisniewski and brother-in-law to the late Sean (Cyd) Farrely, Moira (Angus) Lyle, and Emer Earley. Uncle Ron to Christopher, Matthew, Mike, Tim, Amanda, Krista, Adam, Patrick, Ailish and Enya.

Ron dedicated 27 years of his life doing the job he loved, offering a friendly smile and helping hand as your friendly garbage man at The City of Guelph. When Ron wasn't working, he enjoyed many saunters and sunsets in Southampton, Ontario. Ron will be remembered by many as a man with a heart of gold and a sense of humour that couldn't be beat.

A celebration of life will be held on March 23rd, 2024 from 1:00-4:00pm to celebrate Ron's life and 60th Birthday; the celebration will be held at the Guelph Country Club at 133 Woodlawn Rd E, Guelph, Ontario. Attendees are encouraged to wear their jeans and favourite sweatshirts, if you have a Southampton or City of Guelph attire, we would love to see you wearing them at the event!
