My deepest condolences to Ron's family. The loss of Ron hit me very hard. He called me "kid" and I called him "old man." We talked almost everyday for hours. I have worked with Ron for the last 9 years. I worked with Ron 18 years ago and we parted ways when I left the City to grow. When I returned to the City in June of 2014 and he heard my name called over the radio, he raced over to find where I was and gave me huge hug and told me he thought he was going crazy. He said seeing me again made him so happy to be able to work with me again. He taught me so much over the years. The very last thing he said to me was "Semper Fi." Stay Groovy Ron!
He will truly be missed.

So very sorry to hear of the loss of Ron. He was a neighbour that always lent a helping hand. In fact the first time I met, he saw me struggling with racking the leaves and he showed up with his back pack leaf blower, we had the yard cleared in no time. Ron always had a smile and always had a great outlook on just about everything. He is truely going to be missed. Rest Easy My Friend.

Ron was always nice to me I live in Victoria B.C. and my son Rick Taylor was very good friends with him. He often called just to talk and always told me I had a place to stay if I needed it. He was a kind and caring man. My condolences to his family. RIP Ron

My heartfelt condolences to all who knew Ron, and are missing him now.
A wonderful neighbour & a neighbourly friend —I’ll remember Ron for his warm-hearted smiles, waves and the chats we exchanged almost daily over the 7 years we lived next door to one another.
Always willing to help, I’ll remember the countless times I woke to find my snowed-in driveway already shovelled…. Ron’s kindness, so I could get my daughter to school on time; and the conversations he always made time for even after a long day at work.
Ron: may it be a well-earned season of beach strolls & Southampton sunsets, with your love, for you now.

We are so sad to hear of the sudden passing of Ron. He was a very special person to Ann and Gino who he lived with for a few years. Ron always took time out to chat with Gino on his garbage route over the years. Our deepest condolences to the family during this most difficult time.
