With heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of our mother Sylvia Campbell surrounded by her children at the Guelph General Hospital on March 8, 2019. Beloved wife of the late Thomas Joseph Campbell (2008). Loved mother of Beverly Young (Bernie) of Guelph, Lorna Jobes (Daniel) of Fort McMurray, AB, and Joseph Campbell of Guelph. Proud grandmother of Eddie Stapleton, Krystel Stapleton, Nicole Young, Alicia Campbell, Victoria Campbell; great grandmother of Nicholas, Merisah, Alivia and Edmund. Dear sister of Beverly, Janet, Grace (Stan), Loretta (Bob), Ricky (Cathy) and the late Daniel, Stella, Raymond, Regina; and sister in-law of Barbara McMullin (John), Cavell Boutilier and Maggie Boutilier. Sylvia loved her family, music and bingo and will be fondly remembered by her aunt Grace Urquhart, many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Cremation has taken place. Service and Interment in Cape Breton, NS. If desired, memorial contributions to Diabetes Canada or to the Lung Association would be appreciated.
When you closed your eyes Mom and soared to the heavens’ we could hear the faint flutter of your wings as you left us, until we meet again. Your beautiful soul has left us a trail of beautiful memories. Rest In Peace Mother Love You Forever Beverly, Lorna and Joseph.
