Obituary of Lucia Tummillo

TUMMILLO, Lucia. Peacefully passed away at the Elliot Community LTC, Guelph, on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at the age of 80, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Beloved wife of the late Mario Tummillo. Loving mother of Enzo, Teresa (Dan), Nancy, Lilly and Tony. Cherished Nonna of Cora, Dominic and Natasha, John, Tony, Shayne and Carter, Teresa, Johnny and Chris, Michael and Lucy and Nicholas. Predeceased by her brother Nino. Lucia was known for her larger than life personality. She wore her heart on her sleeve and was passionate about everything and everyone she loved. She worked for many years and retired from the Guelph General Hospital. The Tummillo family will receive relatives and friends for visitation at the Gilchrist Chapel – McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph on Monday, May 29, 2023 from 4-7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held from the Basilica of Our Lady Immaculate, Guelph on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at 10 a.m. Cremation will follow.
