Obituary of Vivian Tanti

TANTI, Vivian Eleanor. Passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Health Centre, Guelph on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at the age of 92 years. Beloved wife of Walter Tanti. Dear mother of Gerry Tanti (the late Sandra) of Guelph and Deborah Tanti of London. Loving grandmother of Kristen Senyshyn (Ty), Maranda De Laurentiis (Joe), Alana & Ben Dahl and proud great grandmother of Jessica Senyshyn and the late Zach Senyshyn. Survived by her sister Eileen Hammerton (the late Keith) and by many relatives and friends. Vivian was a Registered Nurse at St. Joseph’s for 40 years. She was an early contributor to the establishment of Hospice Wellington with the late Eva Saphir and was a founding member of Holy Rosary Parish. The Tanti family will receive relatives and friends for visitation at Gilchrist Chapel – McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph on Saturday, June 24, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. with a service to follow in the chapel of the funeral home at 2:00 p.m. In memory of Vivian, donations to Hospice Wellington, 795 Scottsdale Drive, Guelph, ON N1G 3R8 or St. Joseph’s Health Centre Foundation 100 Westmount Rd.
