Obituary of Clayton George Howard

HOWARD, Clayton George.

Passed away at the Guelph General Hospital on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at the age of 82 years. Beloved husband of Joyce Howard. Loving father of Joy, Dan (Michelle) and Shannon. Cherished grandfather of Kayla (Mike), Nathan (Alyse), Kirsten ( Jordy ), Dustin, Devin and Blake and great grandfather to Keanen, Payton, Bentley, Izaiah, Samantha, Skyler and Sedona. Clayton will be missed by his special friends Diane McConnell and Clara Baxter.

He enjoyed the outdoors. Growing up riding motorcycles, going for long horseback rides, hiking and canoeing through Algonquin Park and sitting outside during thunderstorms taking in all the beauty. Clay had a hard work ethic, working as a Millwright at de Havilland Aircraft for many years. Clayton was a member of Branch 275 of the Royal Canadian Legion where he enjoyed long conversations and tipping back a cold beer with the occasional shot of Drambuie.
