Obituary of Denise Marie Gismondi

GISMONDI, Denise Marie

Our beloved wife, mother, and Nonna, Denise Gismondi, died on May 11th, 2024, in her 65th year, after a courageous battle with cancer.

She is survived by her two children, Rachel (Eddie), and Nathan (Adrianna), grandchildren Evelina and Emilia, and her husband of 34 years, Paul Harding.  Denise was a retired teacher with the Upper Grand District School Board and an active member in the theatre community, acting in, and directing countless shows in her lifetime in the Guelph and surrounding area.

Besides her children, Denise is survived by her father, Fred Gismondi, her brothers Stephen (Cherie), and Michael (Angela), and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her mother Shirley Gismondi, who she was looking forward to being reunited with again.

Visitation will be held at Brombal Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph on Friday, May 17th, from 5:00 to 8:00p.m. The funeral service will be held at Dublin Street United Church, 68 Suffolk Street West, Guelph on Saturday May 18th at 10:30am.
