MANSON, Violet Anne (nee) Rogers
Vianne, in her 81st year, passed away peacefully with family by her side at Guelph General Hospital May 03, 2024. Vianne was born September 04, 1943, at the family’s home in Woodstock, Ontario to Roy and Gladys Rogers.
After relocating to Guelph in her 20’s, Vianne began her career as a dental hygienist working both chair side and administrative duties. She continued until her retirement.
Vianne loved life and shared her zeal with everyone she met. She always had kind words, humorous antidotes, and a Werther’s candy to keep you sweet! She enjoyed crafts of all kinds, gifting ornaments for all of the seasons and holidays. Puzzles, word finds and scratch off tickets always kept her busy. Further, Vianne enjoyed daily walks on her neighborhood routes, visiting with all her old and newfound friends.
Recently, lower gastric pain forced emergency surgery, which lead to a heart attack and her passing.
Loved mother of Warren (Tracy), and Wendalynn Meisner. Faithful wife of 51 years to (Bob) Robert Manson. Chosen grandmother to Zach Beghetto (Melinda), Tasha Weir (Chad). Dear sister of Jim (Nancy) Rogers, Carolyn Fletcher, Deborah (Doug) Winer, dear sister-in-law of Dorothy Rogers, Garfield Scott, Lois Rogers, Shirley (Donald) Brims, Mary Prigione. Predeceased by both parents Roy and Gladys Rogers, as well as siblings Frank Rogers, Donamay Scott, Tom Rogers, Donald Rogers, Willie Rogers and brothers-in-law Dick Fletcher, William (Bill) Manson and sisters-in-law Marjorie Derby (Bernard) and Donna Pettit.
Cremation has taken place, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
In memory of Vianne, donations to the Heart and Stoke Foundation would be appreciated.
