Obituary of John Forsyth Thompson

Thompson, John (Jack).

Known by his family as Bubba, passed away at his home on Thursday, March 28, 2024 at the age of 95 years.  Beloved husband of Vickie Thompson. Loving father of the late Susan, Joanne (Barry), David (Debbie) and Cory (Karen). Cherished grandfather of Derek, Auron, Laura (Aaron), Blair (Katelyn), Amanda, Jackie, Katie, Chris (Stephanie) and Tammy (Derek) as well as by many great grandchildren.

Jack was an avid fisherman and shared this love with his children and grandchildren. He loved to spend time around Lake Huron and Georgian Bay. He grew up in Guelph but enjoyed his retired years at his home in the Bruce Peninsula.

We would like to give a heartfelt thank you to all of the Ellington staff for the exceptional care that Jack received. A special thank you to Donna, Paula, Michelle and Pastor Mike  for being there when we couldn’t be.
