Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Monday March 18, 2024 at Chartwell Elmira.  Joan had just celebrated her 89th birthday.

She was the beloved wife of William Chambers for 70 years.

She was the loving mother of Bill (Cathy) Chambers, Verona (Jeff) Benallick and Rob (Damaris) Chambers. Proud grandmother to Ashley, Grace, Cassandra and Helen. Great grandmother to Henry and Audrey.

A private family Celebration of Life was held at the Brombal Funeral Home. Cremation has already taken place.

The family would like to express their thanks to everyone who assisted in Mom’s care.
