Pat: Sorry to hear of the passing of Bill. Charlie always enjoyed working with Bill on the set up committee and said he was easy to work with. Bill did a lot for the Legion and no one will be able to fill his shoes.

We are so very sorry for your loss Pat. The legion as a whole lost a great comrade as well. There were many a crib tournament with the four Bill's playing. And as for the rest of the fun Bill enjoyed, shot of scotch and a story were often present. I always enjoyed seeing his smile and sharing stories with him. Take solace Pat that he is no longer in pain and suffering. Thinking of you during these days. Eric and Deb Ross

He was definitely a true and genuine gentleman. Will miss his hugs and smile! Never to be forgotten! I’m sure he and “Pedro” will wile away the hours playing cribbage. Rest in peace dear friend. My sincerest condolences. Nora Groenendyk
