Rev Rainey, Kaitlin, Maureen, Julia, Lauren, and Suzanne
I have many great memories of your Mom and the Rainey Family! Mrs. Rainey was my Gr. 2 Teacher at Dr Powers, when she filled in during Mrs Thomas’s Maternity Leave. I remember the intricate little chairs she made with pop cans!
All of us on the Port Hope Aquatic Team together. Sleeping over in the backyard tent with Lauren and Suzanne. They started out trying to scare me, telling me the church wall beside us was where all the dead bodies were piled up!!! In the end, we were all scared and ended up in the house!
Maureen and I both Bridesmaids in Karen and Doug’s Wedding.
Maureen, myself, and my Husband Bob all working for Sunoco Head office.
Bob and I send our deepest condolences. Thoughts are with you all during this difficult time.
With love, Lynn Mellon (Buchan)

We are so very sorry to learn of Sandra’s passing, our sorrow somewhat lessened knowing she is home, at peace, and free from this terrible disease.
Doug and I will never forget the kindnesses shown to us and to our children during our time in Port Hope…Sandra hosted John’s Baptism and made the most beautiful cake to celebrate; Jennifer as a toddler was always welcomed into the home when she visited with Sandra and Lauren ( the best babysitter ever!)
Bill, Kait, Maureen, Julia, Lauren, and Suzanne…please know you are in our thoughts and we send love to each of you at this sad time. Your Mum was a very special lady who we know will be missed by many.
Sincerely,
Doug and Muriel Berry

Rev. Rainey, Kait, Maureen, Julia, Lauren, Suzanne and all your families. We are so saddened to hear of your loss.
Your Mom was lovely. I have so many special and beautiful memories. All those sleepovers when we were young and her help when I was learning to sew. She was a kind and talented woman. I especially fondly remember when she altered and hemmed my wedding dress ❤️
Sincere condolences to you all. May your memories help you through this very difficult time.
