Ann was my Grade 12 and 13 Biology teacher. She encouraged me in so many ways. When I started my teaching career, visits with her were always such a great time. As we chatted with me sharing my experiences (good and not so good), she was always so supportive. After I moved to northern Alberta, I always tried to stop in for a cup of tea when I made it back to Ontario. I so looked forward to those visits. She always made me feel so special. I will treasure those wonderful memories. Samantha - she always spoke so highly of you. My most sincere condolences.

Mrs. Smith was my Biology and Zoology teacher in Gr. Xlll (1964/65). She played a significant part in my graduating and opening the doors to several careers. I was accepted to attend Gr. Xlll, with only grade eight formal education. By Christmas I wanted to quit, as I had failed all exams. Mrs. Smith counselled me and encouraged me to stay on until Easter. I did and slowly began to thrive. I graduated, and had four successful careers. Mrs. Smith was an exceptional patient teacher and giving human being and went beyond the norms. My sincere condolences to her family.
