Obituary of Eileen Elizabeth Hardie

HARDIE, Eileen Elizabeth.

Passed away at the Village of Riverside Glen, Guelph on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at the age of 85 years. Beloved wife of the late Russell “Bill” Hardie. Predeceased by her siblings Philomena, Jean, Josephine, Edna, Alice, Wilbert, Harold, Daniel, Charles, Gordon, Douglas, Frank, as well as by her parents John and Mary (nee Maltby) Breese. Survived by Sisters-in-law Gloria and Iona, along with many nieces and nephews.

Eileen was a waitress at Royal City Restaurant and the Golden Crown Restaurant for many years.  She enjoyed bingo, horseracing and travelling. A special thank you to the Village of Riverside Glen for their many years of care.

The Hardie family will receive relatives and friends for visitation at the Brombal Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph on Thursday, December 14, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
