In memory of my Uncle Ron, I would like to share a little of his family history …….to be precise, more about his bloodline. Born to parents Albert and Margaret Ross in Ealing England, growing up in Hounslow Middlesex England. Uncle Ron came from a family of four siblings with him being the youngest child, including my mother, his only living sister Helen Daniels( nee Ross) 97, her children Patricia, Peter, Georgina and Jeannie, his eldest sister , Margaret Thielitz( nee Ross) and her children, Jennifer, Michael, Patrick, Kathleen and Rose Marie, older brother Albert Ross and his children Grant, Lydia and Cheryl along with dozens of great nephews and nieces..
While too young to enlist in the war, Ronald earned his schooling in accounting, dutifully served in the British army post WWII and eventually made his way across the pond with his parents to start a life in Canada. Upon arrival, staying with my parents Helen and Greg Daniels in Vancouver BC , he eventually moved to Ontario where he met our Aunt Wyn and began to build his life with her, living in Guelph, wintering in Florida when they retired. Eventually giving up Florida and settling into life in their retirement community in Guelph.
We all share many fond memories growing up of visits with Uncle Ron and Aunt Wyn, whether on the east coast of Ontario or the west coast of BC.
On behalf of my mother Helen Daniels, she wishes to convey her condolences to Uncle Ron’s extended family Linda, Ian and Mercedes.

I am so sorry to hear of Ron's passing. Ron and I had our early morning chats while working out at Movati. He was a kind soft spoken gentle man who shared many stories and humourous moments. I remember a special occasion when I brought in some cupcakes to celebrate his 90th birthday. He was touched and honoured by those at the gym who shared in his special day. Thank you for your friendship, Ron.
