Obituary of Kate Swackhammer
It is with deep sadness that we regretfully announce the passing of Kate Swackhammer nee Rose, who died suddenly at Guelph General Hospital, Thursday, December 20, 2012. Beloved wife of the late Ralph Swackhammer and wonderful mother to Michelle and David, loving mother in law to Linda and Michelle’s partner, Miles. Loved so much by her grandchildren, Jenna, Lauren and Sam. She will be deeply missed by her brother and sister in law, Alan and Fay Swackhammer and their children, Adam, Ricky and Andy. Kate was predeceased within hours by her very beloved brother, Albert Rose of Murray Corners, Sackville, New Brunswick and will be deeply missed by her cousin, Nola. Kate was an esteemed employee of the Bank of Nova Scotia in downtown Guelph for 25 years and a long time resident at 32 Hadati Road where she will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her. It is with broken hearts that we loose our "Katie Rose". All our deepest heartfelt condolences go out to her sister in law, Ardith and her children, Tim, John and Andy, their families and all the family "down east".
