Peacefully, at Groves Memorial Hospital, Fergus, on Tuesday, August 28th in her 78th year. Shirley Schneider, beloved wife of the late Clayton (2004). Loved mother of Debbie Hewitson (Gerry Ross), Douglas all of Guelph and John (Deanna) of Fergus. Proud grandmother of Jason Hewitson (Karen), Crystal Hewitson, Jessica Hanna and great grandmother of Alissa, Braiden, Chloe, Savannah and Michaela. Sadly missed by her sisters, Patricia Copat, Donna Hines, Gwen Beetson (Glen) all of Guelph and her brother, Robert Clayton (Mary-Lynn) of Fergus. Dear friend of Bob Halliburton. Predeceased by her parents Alf and Dorothy Clayton, brother Ron Clayton and sons Don and David. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff at Groves Memorial Hospital where she received excellent care.
