Obituary of Eleanor Goldberg

Passed away peacefully, in her sleep, after a brief illness, at the Guelph General Hospital on Thursday, March 6, 2014 at the age of 96. Beloved wife of the late Abraham. Devoted mother of Louise Goldberg (Don Roebuck), Nancy Goldberg (late Walter Gabrielson) and the late Elissa Goldberg. Eleanor will be remembered for her community involvement; particularly with the "Meals on Wheels" program as well as for her love of animals, gardening and cooking. Friends may call at the Beth Isaiah Section of Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery (Friday, March 7, 2014 at 1 p.m. for a graveside service), followed by refreshments at the Beth Isaiah Synagogue, 47 Surrey St. Shiva will begin at the family home, 31 Waverley Dr. on Sunday, March 9 at 7 p.m., continuing daily until Wednesday evening.
