Ogilvie, Stuart Gladstone
Died peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Sunday, July 6, 2014, at the age of 89 years. Stuart leaves behind his beloved wife of 65 years, Agnes Ogilvie (Henderson); his loving daughters: Yvonne Ogilvie of Guelph, Marie Kinnear (Randy) of Simcoe, Lynn Ogilvie-Taylor (Doug Taylor) of Woodstock, cherished granddaughters: Annie (Cory) and Sarah, his extended family: Monique & Paul Johnston; his brother: Robert Douglas "Bob" Ogilvie, and his sisters in-law: Margaret Hunt (Jack), Sandra Whalen (Karl), Rosejean Henderson. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews and many dear friends. Predeceased by his parents: Robert and Vivian (Daly) Ogilvie; his brother Trevor "Ted" Ogilvie, and his brother in-law Campbell Henderson. Stuart was a member of the Colonel John McCrae, Branch 234, Royal Canadian Legion, proud founder of Ogilvie Electric and owner of Simcoe Electric.

Friends may call at the GILCHRIST CHAPEL – McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph, Wednesday, July 9th from 2 – 4 p.m. (Legion service will be held prior to visitation at 1:50 p.m.) Additional visitation to be held at St. David & St. Patrick’s Anglican Church, 520 Speedvale Avenue East, Guelph on Thursday, July 10th from 1:30 – 2:30 p.m. Funeral service to follow at 2:30 p.m. Cremation and Inurnment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. David & St. Patrick’s Anglican Church would be appreciated. We invite you to leave your condolences and donations online.
