Obituary of Richard Ivany

IVANY, WILLIAM RICHARD ~ After a brief illness at the Guelph General Hospital on Saturday November 3, 2012. Richard Ivany 73 years of age. Beloved husband and best friend of Mazie (Rowsell) Ivany. Dear father of Darlene Richter (Russell Grossman) and Laura Ivany (Norm Anderson) all of Guelph. Loved grandfather of Ashley, Jessica, Erica, and Chloe; great grandfather of Callie. Richard will be missed by his brother Cyril Ivany (Melinda Anthony) of Woodstock and his many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his two sons Roger and Norman; his parents Catherine (Thorn) and Walter Ivany; sister Beatrice and brothers Clarence and Harry. Richard was a retired employee of Henk Oosterveld Heating and Air Conditioning and a long time member of the Red Chevron Club. Friends may call at the Gilchrist Chapel McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph (519 824-0031) for a memorial visitation (Tuesday from 2 - 4 & 7 – 9pm). Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday November 7, 2012 at 11:00am. Cremation has taken place.
