Mitchell, Charles "Derek" Peacefully, at the Guelph General Hospital on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at the age of 83 years. Beloved husband of the late Isabella Armstrong (Fairfull) Mitchell (1983). Proud and devoted father of Joanne (Dan) Cox, Janice (Nick) Pugliese, Stephen (Bernie), Susan (John) Morris and Paul (Cheryl). Cherished grandfather of Casey, Cory, Curtis, Christopher, Ashleigh, Justin, Ryan, Geoffrey, Jason, Kailyn and Meagan and great grandfather of Georgia, Allie and Nash. Dear friend of Joan Bell and her family. Dear brother to Bernice Slater, Jean Mitchell and the late Lorraine Millie (2007). Derek was a long time owner of car 17 with Canadian Cab.
