Obituary of Barbara Black

Black, Barbara Anne Passed away at Chartwell Home in Elmira on Thursday, August 20, 2020, at the age of 86. She now joins her husband, Robert McLaren Black who passed away in 1995. She was the loving mother to Michael (Terri Jo), Terri-Lynn (Andy) Black and the late Kim Middleton (2011). Cherished Grandma of Nicole (James), Kaitlyn, Melissa (Roelof) and Kyle and great grandma of 5. Barb was the dear sister of Marilyn Wagg (late Larry). The family would like to thank the staff at Chartwell Home in Elmira for their exceptional care and compassion shown to Barb. Please understand that we will be following social distancing protocols due to COVID-19. The ceremony will be a private one, by invitation only and masks are required. We ask that you do not visit the funeral home if feeling unwell or have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for Covid-19 and further ask that you respect the direction of the funeral home staff.
