Obituary of Marion Harris

Harris, Marion Elizabeth ~ Peacefully, at St. Joseph’s Health Centre on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at the age of 78. Beloved wife of the late Walter Harris (2006). Loving mother of Frederick of Alliston, Peter (Julie Lesar Harris), and Walter all of Guelph. Proud grandmother of Donna (Mathew), Allan (Jennifer), Daniel (Jess), Andy, Morrissey, Holden, Dakota and great grandmother of Emma, Claudia, Bruce, Aidia and Eli. Dear sister-in-law of Jean Appleby, Estelle Appleby and Bill Harris (Nora). Marion will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends and care givers at G.S.P.D., Hospice Wellington, and St. Joseph’s Hospital and Long Term Care. Predeceased by her parents: Lester and Hannah Appleby; brothers: Donald and Lester and in-laws Harry & Mary Hansen and Freda Harris. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at the GILCHRIST CHAPEL – McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph, Friday, July 17, 2015 at 11 a.m. Visitation one hour prior to service. Reception to follow at the funeral home. Inurnment at MemoryGardens, Breslau, ON. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the the M.S. Society would be appreciated. We invite you to leave your memories and donations online. Marion and Walter were well known and loved by all who knew them - they are together again.
