Obituary of Louise Lavigne

Lavigne, Louise Lynda (nee Belec) Passed away peacefully with her daughter by her side on Friday, October 23rd 2020, at Guelph General Hospital, at the age of 73 years. Louise was the beloved spouse of the late Lazlo Mohacsi. Proud and loving mother of Nicole TMJ Stoker (April Snyder) and Yvon Lavigne (Janet Corey), grandmother to Michel Lavigne (Sarra Lamothe), great grandmother to Silas Lavigne. Louise was the dear daughter of Hector and Valentine Belec and the baby sister of the Belec siblings. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Darlene Lower and Kristen Shewen of Mount Sinai Family Medicine as well as the staff at Guelph General Hospital, particularly Dr. Alina Dragomir, for the compassion, patience and care shown to Louise in her time of need. If desired, memorial contributions to the Foundation of Guelph General Hospital would be appreciated in Louise’s name. Cremation has taken place and there will be no formal services.
